| Abstract: | На основе изучения и анализа исторических источников, а также историографической базы дана характеристика деятельности общественной организации Федерация американских индейцев в контексте политики администрации США в отношении коренного индейского населения в 1930-е – 1940-е гг. В рамках статьи освещено формирование, социальная база и направления деятельности организации. Сделан вывод о политическом характере данной организации, а также её роли в качестве рупора критики федеральной политики в отношении американских индейцев в обозначенный период |
| Abstract (in another language): | Based on the study and analysis of historical sources, as well as the analysis of the historiographic base, the author describes the activities of the public organization American Indian Federation in the context of the US administration's policy towards the indigenous Indian population in the 1930s – 1940s. Within the framework of the report, the formation, social base and directions of the organization's activities are highlighted. The conclusion is made about the political nature of this organization, as well as its role as a mouthpiece for criticism of federal policy towards American Indians in the specified period |
