Abstract: Olympic education as a social phenomenon, is gradually becoming a reality. In many countries it is introduced in the syllabus of training establishments because it is the foundation of the objective conditions of the transformation of the Olympic movement in the most massive phenomenon of our time. It is fully consistent with the trends of modern social development, the interests and needs of modern civilization. It can make a significant contribution to the solution of urgent social problems. The highest efficiency of introduction of Olympic education is possible through the use of interdisciplinary connections. In particular, the Olympic knowledge can be optimized introduced into content of general education courses
