Abstract: | Thorough empirical study had been conducted to inquire into self-consciousness of children with retarded mentality. In comparison with normal peers adolescents with mental deficiency show line (undifferentiated) self-esteem structure and tend to describe themselves in terms of socially approved characteristics. The future self-conception is not represented at all. All these results should be taken into account when dealing with mentally retarded children. = В статье представлены данные эмпирического исследования временной организации образа Я детей 12–14 лет в норме и с умственной отсталостью, выделены структурные типы самооценок и их содержательные характеристики. |
