Abstract:	В работе показывается многоаспектность исследований коммуникативного феномена молчания. По данным анкетного опроса 151 студента учреждений высшего образования Республики Беларусь демонстрируется диалектичная роль молчания в ходе коммуникации. Обращается внимание на то, что абсолютным большинством обучающихся (89,4 % опрошенных) обучение молчанию признается перспективным направлением в совершенствовании общения
Abstract (in another language):	This paper demonstrates the multifaceted nature of research into the communicative phenomenon of silence. Based on a questionnaire survey of 151 students at higher education institutions in the Republic of Belarus, the dialectical role of silence in communication is demonstrated. It is noted that the absolute majority of students (89.4% of respondents) recognize teaching silence as a promising direction in improving communication
