| Abstract (in another language): | The paper explores the field of cognitive discourse analysis and addresses the epistemic approach to scientific discourse. The epistemic analysis specifies the concept of cognition as an activity directly connected with language. Special attention is given to the anthropocentric component of scientific discourse, and how it is reflected in the language choices. Details are given of emotive language functional usages |
