| Abstract: | Данная статья посвящена анализу экзистенциальных мотивов в контексте современной английской литературы на примере романа Дж. С. Фоера «Жутко громко и запредельно близко» (Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, 2005). В статье рассматривается связь романа с философией экзистенциализма, а также предложенные автором способы поиска ответов на экзистенциальные вопросы. Одним из методологических оснований данной работы избрана теория немецкого философа Мартина Хайдеггера, в частности, выделенные им экзистенциальные категории, описывающие бытие человека и все присущие ему феномены – экзистенциалы. Целью исследования является выявление экзистенциальной проблематики в современном англоязычном романе |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article is devoted to the analysis of existential motives in the context of modern English literature on the example of the novel by J. S. Foer “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” (2005). The article examines the connection of the novel with the philosophy of existentialism, as well as the methods proposed by the author to find answers to existential questions. One of the methodological foundations of this work is the theory of the German philosopher Martin Heidegger, in particular, the existential categories he identified that describe human existence and all the phenomena inherent in it – existentials. The purpose of the study is to identify existential issues in the modern English-language novel |
