Фоера «Жутко громко и запредельно близко» (Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, 2005). В статье рассматривается связь романа с философией экзистенциализма, а также предложенные автором способы поиска ответов на экзистенциальные вопросы. Одним из методологических оснований данной работы избрана теория немецкого философа Мартина Хайдеггера, в частности, выделенные им экзистенциальные категории, описывающие бытие человека и все присущие ему феномены – экзистенциалы.
