| Abstract: | В статье рассматривается опыт использования студенческих инициатив в образовательном процессе в целом и при обучении иностранному языку в частности; также подчеркивается необходимость поощрения и продвижения студенческих проектов; приведены примеры реализации идей, выдвинутых учащимися по разрешению конкретных проблемных ситуаций. Обучающие мероприятия проводились в рамках программного материала по теме «Бизнес и экономика». Такой подход к обучению способствует не только совершенствованию языковых навыков студентов, но и развитию у них критического и логического мышления, творческого осмысления поставленных задач, что очень важно для будущих специалистов в сфере международных отношений, изучающих английский как первый или второй язык в профессиональных целях. |
| Abstract (in another language): | In the article, the experience of using student-driven initiatives in the educational process is considered and the necessity of encouraging and promoting students’ projects is emphasized; there are given examples of implementing some ideas put forward by students on how to resolve specific problem situations. The learning activities were carried out within programme material on the issue ‘Business and Economics’. This learning strategy contributes to developing students’ linguistic skills as well as their critical thinking, logical reasoning and creativity, which is essential for students learning English as their first or second language for professional purposes. |
