Abstract:	В статье рассмотрены понятие ксеноглоссофобии и ее проявления на занятиях по английскому языку. Много внимания уделяется причинам страха и избегания говорить на иностранном языке. Предлагаются стратегии преодоления неуверенности в себе, страха ошибок, повышения мотивации студентов к спонтанной речи. Даются рекомендации по вовлечению «неговорящих» студентов в процесс коммуникации на английском языке, созданию в аудитории комфортной образовательной среды.
Abstract (in another language):	The article considers the concept of xenophobia and its manifestations in English classes. Much attention is paid to the causes of fear and avoidance of speaking a foreign language. Strategies for overcoming self-doubt, fear of mistakes, increasing students' motivation for spontaneous speech are off ered. Recommendations are given on involvement of «non-speaking» students in the process of communication, creating comfortable learning environment in the classroom.
