Abstract:	В период 80–90-х гг. ХІХ в. произошло два важных события: объединение Южной и Северной Болгарии и сербско-болгарская война 1885 г. Воссоединение Восточной Румелии с Болгарией стало важным шагом в деле освобождения болгарского народа от турецкого ига, а также предлогом для развязывания сербско-болгарской войны. Основаниями сербско-болгарской войны послужили непримиримые противоречия ведущих европейских держав (Австро-Венгрии, России и Англии). Сербско-болгарская война имела различное значение для противоборствующих сторон: для Сербии она была захватнической, несправедливой, а для Болгарии – войной в защиту родины, только что освобожденной от турецкой неволи. Внешнеполитическим итогом войны стал распад Союза трех императоров
Abstract (in another language):	In the period of the 80–90s of the XIX century, two important events took place: the unification of Southern and Northern Bulgaria and the Serbian-Bulgarian War of 1885. The reunification of Eastern Rumelia with Bulgaria was an important step in the liberation of the Bulgarian people from the Turkish yoke, as well as a pretext for unleashing the Serbian-Bulgarian war. The foundations of the Serbian-Bulgarian war were the irreconcilable contradictions of the leading European powers (Austria-Hungary, Russia and England). The Serbian-Bulgarian war had different meanings for the opposing sides: for Serbia it was an aggressive, unjust war, and for Bulgaria it was a war in defense of the motherland, which had just been liberated from Turkish bondage. The foreign policy outcome of the war was the collapse of the Union of the Three Emperors
