| Abstract: | Исследования городских похоронных и поминальных обрядов на территории БССР начали проводиться только во второй половине ХХ в. До 70-х гг. описания гражданских похорон и семейных поминальных дней практически отсутствовали. В 70-е гг. описания городской похоронно-поминальной обрядности впервые выносятся в отдельные главы монографий. Этнографические исследования указанного периода позволяют отследить малую распространенность гражданских или нерелигиозных церемоний похорон среди городского населения БССР. В работах 80-х гг. встречается критика современной похоронной символики и оценка отдельных элементов традиционных похорон и поминок, сохранившихся в городе, рассматривается проблема недостаточного контроля обрядов со стороны государства. Параллельно с этим на территории БССР происходит расширение сферы коммунально-ритуальных услуг, что также становится объектом изучения белорусских этнологов |
| Abstract (in another language): | Studies of urban funeral and memorial rites on the territory of the BSSR were carried out in the second half of the twentieth century. Until the 70s descriptions of civil funerals and family memorial days were virtually absent. In the 70s descriptions of urban funeral and memorial rituals were included in separate chapters of monographs. Ethnographic studies of this period make it possible to trace the low prevalence of civil or non-religious funeral ceremonies among the urban population of the BSSR. In the works of the 80s criticism of modern funeral symbols and an assessment of individual elements of traditional funerals and commemorations preserved in the city is encountered, the problem of insufficient control of ceremonies by the state is considered. In parallel with this, the sphere of communal and ritual services is expanding on the territory of the BSSR, which also becomes an object of study by Belarusian ethnologists |
