| Abstract: | Рассматриваются теоретические основы понятия «верификация» в разных областях научного знания: философии, социологии, экономике. Цель работы – конкретизировать и установить семантические границы понятия «верификация» в журналистской практике путем выявления его сущностных характеристик, определить его методологический и функциональный потенциал. Актуальность исследования обусловлена трансформацией медиасферы под влиянием процессов дигитализации и конвергенции. Увеличение объемов новостного контента и скорости его циркуляции актуализируют проблему оперативной и качественной проверки информации журналистом. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы для дальнейшего детального разграничения понятий «верификация», «проверка фактов» и «фактчекинг» в теории журналистики и журналистской практике. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article provides theoretical foundations of the concept of «verification» in different areas of scientific knowledge: philosophy, sociology, economic. The purpose of the research are concretisation and establishment of the semantic confines of the concept of «verification» in journalistic practice by defining its essential characteristics, as well as development of the methodological and functional potential. The relevance of the topic is conditioned by the transformation of the media sphere by the influence of the processes of digitalisation and convergence. The increase in the volumes of news content and speed of it’s circulation actualises the problem of rapid and highquality verification of information by a journalist. The research results can be used for further detailed differentiation of the concepts of «verification», «fact check process» and «factchecking» in the theory of journalism and journalistic practice. |
