| Abstract: | Появление технологий Web 2.0 дало толчок развитию инновационного направления в дистанционном образовании – массовых открытых онлайн-курсов (МООК). Рассмотрены теоретические и практические вопросы развития МООК в контексте life-long learning, описаны этапы возникновения данного направления дистанционного обучения, проанализированы характеристики двух типов данных курсов, выделены их преимущества и недостатки, а также отличительные особенности МООК от традиционного дистанционного обучения |
| Abstract (in another language): | The advent of Web 2.0 technologies gave impetus to the development of an innovative direction in distance education – mass open online courses (MOOCs). The article is devoted to theoretical and practical issues of MOOC development in the context of life-long learning. The stages of the emergence of this direction of distance learning are considered, the characteristics of two types of these courses are analyzed, their advantages and disadvantages are highlighted. Distinguishing features of MOOC from traditional distance learning are highlighted |
