| Abstract: | Peculiarities of nonlinear refraction in the active layer of quantum-well heterolasers are established. Effects of spectral broadening are taken into account, the nonlinear refraction spectrum is calculated, and the nonlinear refraction coefficient is estimated in the heterostructures in the GaAs–AlGaAs system.
