| Abstract: | This article presents the results of the analysis of the relationship between the information society development and the economic performance. The analy- sis was carried out using the regional indices of the Republic of Belarus in 2011 (Minsk excluded). The study considered 16 indicators which were grouped into three main factors. Only the first factor was found to have a significant rela- tionship with the gross regional product according to the Spearman correlation coefficient. |
