| Abstract: | В статье рассматриваются лингвостилистические особенности англоязычного музыкального дискурса на примере текстов песен группы Imagine Dragons. Объектом исследования выступают песни «Radioactive», «Demons», «Believer», «Natural», «Thunder», «Whatever It Takes», «It’s Time». Проведён детальный анализ фонетических, лексических и грамматических характеристик, включая рифму, ритм, аллитерацию, ассонанс, ономатопею, использование разговорной лексики, фразовых глаголов, междометий, метафор и эпитетов. Выявлено, что тексты песен отличаются характерной звучностью, экспрессивностью и эмоциональной образностью, что обеспечивает их привлекательность и поэтическую цельность. Особое внимание уделено балансу между разговорной стилистикой и художественным мастерством, а также влиянию лингвистических приёмов на восприятие музыкальных произведений |
| Abstract (in another language): | This article examines the linguistic and stylistic features of English-language musical discourse using the lyrics of Imagine Dragons as an example. The study focuses on the songs "Radioactive," "Demons," "Believer," "Natural," "Thunder," "Whatever It Takes," and "It's Time." A detailed analysis of phonetic, lexical, and grammatical characteristics is provided, including rhyme, rhythm, alliteration, assonance, onomatopoeia, the use of colloquialisms, phrasal verbs, interjections, metaphors, and epithets. It is revealed that the lyrics are distinguished by a characteristic sonority, expressiveness, and emotional imagery, which ensures their appeal and poetic integrity. Particular attention is paid to the balance between colloquial style and artistic mastery, as well as the influence of linguistic devices on the perception of musical works |
