| Abstract: | The demographic development of China and Belarus faces significant challenges, including negative population growth, declining fertility, and aging populations. In China, the transition to a new demographic reality is complicated by skewed sex ratios, cultural attitudes, and the effects of the one-child policy. Economic factors, urbanisation, and changes in family structure influence reproductive behaviour, with many women choosing education and careers over having children. Understanding of these dynamics is important for addressing demographic challenges and promoting sustainable development in Belarus, China, and Kazakhstan. |
| Abstract (in another language): | Демографическое развитие Китая и Беларуси сталкивается со значительными проблемами, включая отрицательный прирост населения, снижение рождаемости и старение населения. В Китае переход к новой демографической реальности осложняется дисбалансом в соотношении полов, культурными установками и последствиями политики одного ребенка на одну семью. Экономические факторы, урбанизация и изменения в структуре семьи влияют на репродуктивное поведение, при этом многие женщины предпочитают получение образования и построение карьеры рождению детей. Понимание этой динамики важно для решения демографических проблем и содействия устойчивому развитию общества в Беларуси, Китае и Казахстане. |
