Abstract

Innovation centres are increasingly recognized as critical hubs for bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills in intellectual property (IP) management. This study examines the role of innovation centres in providing business students with a comprehensive understanding of intellectual property, a key asset in today’s knowledge economy. By analysing the methods through which innovation centres deliver IP education – such as partnerships with industry experts, and exposure to real-world IP challenges – this paper underscores the importance of practical IP learning for future business leaders
