| Abstract: | Проанализирована деятельность Китая с конца XX в. по укреплению своей значимости в Арктическом регионе, а также причины заинтересованности территорией Севера, обладающей значительными мировыми запасами залежей угля, нефти, газа, иных полезных ископаемых и привлекающей все больше стран мира. Отмечена важность Китая в 2020 г. как активного игрока, имеющего значительное количество партнеров и реализующего различные инвестиционные проекты в регионе. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article analyses China’s activities to strengthen its importance in the Arctic region, as well as the reasons for Chinese interest in the North. The Arctic, being a territory containing significant reserves of global deposits of coal, oil and gas, as well as other minerals, attracts more and more countries of the world. The People’s Republic of China began its activity in this direction at the end of the XX century. The author concludes that in 2020 China has become the most important and active player with a significant number of partners and various investment projects in the region. |
