| Abstract: | В статье рассматривается потенциал использования кейс-метода на современном этапе обучения иностранному языку. Цель статьи — обосновать эффективность применения данного метода для мобилизации познавательной активности учащихся. В работе приводятся ключевые компоненты кейс-метода, дается обоснование их эффективности с точки зрения теории и практики преподавания иноязычной речи; прослеживается взаимосвязь между мобилизацией внимания учащихся в рамках кейс-метода и развитием языковых и речевых навыков иностранного языка; изучается повышение внимания и мотивации студентов посредством внедрения профессионально ориентированных кейсов. Практическое значение статьи определяется указанием на способы работы с кейс-методом в рамках коммуникативного подхода к обучению иностранному языку |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article discusses the potential of using the case method at the present stage of teaching a foreign language. The aim of the article is to prove the effectiveness of using the method to mobilise students’ learning activity. The paper presents the key components of the case method, substantiates their effectiveness from the point of view of the theory and practice of teaching foreign language speech; traces the relationship between the mobilisation of students’ attention within the framework of the case method and the development of language and speech skills; studies the increase of students’ attention and motivation through the introduction of professionally oriented cases. The practical significance of the article is determined by pointing out the ways of working with the case method within the communicative approach to teaching a foreign language |
