| Abstract: | В статье рассмотрены существующие в историографии подходы к изучению становления дипломатической номенклатуры. Выделены два направления — сторонников и противников возможности построения формализованной иерархии дипломатических рангов. Сделан вывод о значении оформления дипломатической номенклатуры в процессе становления профессии дипломата в Новое время. На основании достигнутого в историографии консенсуса относительно проблемы существования/отсутствия дипломатической иерархии в раннее Новое время предложена методология дальнейших исследований номенклатуры дипломатических агентов. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The following article covers the approaches existing in historiography to the study of the diplomatic nomenclature formation. Two ways are emphasised — supporters and opponents of the possibility of building a formalised diplomatic ranks hierarchy. The conclusion is made about the importance of the diplomatic nomenclature formalization during the process of diplomat formation in Modern period. Based on the consensus reached in historiography regarding the problem of the existence/absence of a diplomatic hierarchy in the early modern period, a methodology for further research on the nomenclature of diplomatic agents is proposed. |
