Abstract: The results of study parameters of localized electronic states in porous anodic alumina, obtained in phosphoric acid, are presented. Polarization experiments were carried out using the structure of electrolyte - anodic aluminum oxide- aluminum in the barrier-type electrolyte at the anode potential sweep mode. It is shown that the initial area of current curve is described by the theory of current of space limited charge for case of electronic traps exponentially distributed at energies in band gap of anodic aluminum oxide. It has been experimentally determined for porous aluminium oxide formed in phosphoric acid that the characteristic trap energy distribution in the band gap of anodic aluminium oxide is equal to 0.23 eV
