Abstract:	В статье исследуется журналистская критика газеты «Кавказ», в которой освещалась тема развития армянской периодической печати. Анализ газетных публикаций показал, что развитие армянской прессы, в основном, зависело от целей, финансовых возможностей издателей, а также от уровня развития языка и тематического содержания прессы
Abstract (in another language):	The article discusses journalistic criticism of the Kavkaz newspaper, in which the topic of the development of Armenian periodical press was illustrated. The analysis of journalistic materials shows that the development of Armenian press mainly depended on the publishers’ objectives, financial possibilities, as well as the level of language development and the thematic content of the press
