| Abstract: | Республика Соединённых провинций приняла участие в Вестфальском конгрессе, направив в Мюнстер свою делегацию. Делегация состояла из восьми дипломатов и представляла все семь провинций. Провинцию Голландия представляли два посла. Почти все послы имели большой дипломатический опыт. Они представляли интересы враждующих политических партий: сторонников принца Оранского и антиоранжистов, сторонников продолжения войны и немедленного заключения мира. Ведущую роль в этой миссии сыграл Адриан Паув, который представлял интересы республики на всех стадиях переговоров. В статье даются также характеристики других членов делегации. Переговоры закончились подписанием Мюнстерского мира, признавшего независимость Республики Соединённых провинций. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The Republic of the United Provinces participated in the Congress of Westphalia, sending its delegation to Münster. The delegation consisted of eight diplomats and represented all seven provinces. The province of Holland was represented by two ambassadors. Almost all ambassadors had extensive diplomatic experience. They represented the interests of warring political parties: supporters of the Prince of Orange and anti-orangeists, supporters of the continuation of the war and the immediate conclusion of peace. The leading role in this mission was played by Adriaan Pauw, who represented the interests of the republic at all stages of negotiations. The article also gives characteristics of other members of the delegation. The negotiations ended with the signing of the Münster Peace, which recognized the independence of the Republic of the United Provinces. |
