| Abstract: | The article considers communicative and pragmatic characteristics of legal discourse in the French and Russian languages. It is shown that although legal texts in different fields of communication have a specific complex of linguistic, communicative and pragmatic peculiarities, they have common requirements for its composition. Using contrastive and contextual methods, the authors have identified a number of lexical, grammatical and syntactical transformations to communicate the same legal information in the same situation in the French and Russian languages |
