Abstract: In the paper the «song calendar» of the locus of White, Black and Sporovskoye lakes is considered. Genre morphology and melogeography of the agricultural cycle songs are covered, the song calendar tradition’s originality which is caused by the frontier nature of this area is defined. There are features which detach and mark out the calendar song traditions of Lakes White, Black and Sporovskoje territories as a special style locus (independent coexistance of the genre, typological, musical and stylistical characteristics, typical of the Ponemonje on the one hand, and on the other - of the Polesje)
