| Abstract: | Proper writing of Korean personal names using other alphabets, particularly Roman and Cyrillic, is a very serious research problem in the theory and practice of Korean linguistics. The article elucidates a theoretical side of personal names’ English and Russian translation problem. The author's method of personal names’ proper translation in diplomatic documents is a bottom line of the research. |
