| Abstract (in another language): | The anthology of texts and essays «West or East: Czech Reflection of Europe, 1918-1948», prepared by the famous historian, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Philosophy at Charles University in Prague, Petr Glavachk, contains more than 50 scientific, journalistic and literary texts aimed at understanding the phenomenon of Europe and place Czech Republic on the European continent, written by Czech intellectuals in the dynamic thirty years from the emergence of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1918 to the establishment of the communist regime in 1948. |
