The modeling of the displacement of the fang in the bone stock under the concentrated force

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the modelling of the displacements of tooth root in bone stock. These displacements appear under stress creating by the orthodontic appliance. The shape of tooth root is de¯ned by the equations of elliptical hyperboloids. The calculations and visualization of displacements ¯eld are realized for two clinical cases of point load action on single-rooted premolar and canine tooth. Analytical transforms , calculations, imaging of the displacements of fang are performed with Mathematica.
