Abstract: It is shown that confinement of spinless heavy quarks can be treated as decoherence of an arbitrary colour superposition into a mixture quantum state with equal probabilities for different colours with the use of stochastic QCD vacuum model. Decoherence rate is found to be proportional to the distance between colour charges. Purity, fidelity, and Von Neumann entropy of colour states are evaluated.
