Abstract

The article represents a philosophical investigation on the problem of understanding in the analytical theory of D. Davidson. The author analyzes such essential notions as meaning, translation, interpretation, coherence, holistic principle and the principle of charity. The author makes a conclusion that understanding as a result of communication lies within the boarders of a highly complicated interpretative procedure. = Статья посвящена анализу проблемы понимания в концепции одного из представителей современной аналитической философии Дональда Дэвидсона. Обращаясь к основным идеям теории американского мыслителя, автор статьи раскрывает смысл таких концептов и принципов, как понимание, интерпретация, принцип холизма, принцип когерентности и принцип доверия.
