Проекты учреждения лицея в Беларуси в 1820–1830-х гг.

Abstract

Рассматриваются проекты создания лицея в Беларуси, предложенные профессором Санкт-Петербургского университета О. И. Сенковским в 1826 г. и попечителем Белорусского учебного округа Г. И. Карташевским в 1830 г., и причины, затрудняв- шие его открытие. Окончательный отказ от открытия лицея был обусловлен созданием в Киеве Университета св. Владимира, а инициатором этого решения выступил министр народного просвещения С. С. Уваров. = The article deals with projects of establishment of a lyceum in Belarus, which were offered by the professor of Saint-Petersburg Uni- versity O. Senkovski in 1826 and by the curator of the Belarusian school district G. Kartashevskii in 1830, and with the reasons, which made the opening of a lyceum impossible. The conclusive decision about non-opening of a lyceum was taken because of the estab- lishment of the university in the name of St. Vladimir in Kiev. The mover of this decision was the minister of education S. Uvarov.
