Abstract: The process of mesenchymal stem cells labeling with 5,9 nm maghemite nanoparticles stabilized by oleic acid and triethanola- mine has been studied. The effects of the method and duration of labeling as well as the concentration of magnetic nanoparticles on the cell viability, adhesion and proliferation were investigated. It was established that the obtained magnetic nanoparticles are charac- terized by low cytotoxicity and can be used as an effective agent for mesenchymal stem cells labeling for subsequent transplantation and magnetic resonance imaging.
