| Abstract: | Modal words (adverbs and particles) are complex linguistic phenomenon. They don’t possess a completely independent lexical meaning but have various evaluating semantics. At the same time, modal words have a unique set of specific pragmatic characteristic showing only in the communication process when functioning as illocutionary indicators. |
