| Abstract: | In this article epistolary texts are analyzed in structural and pragmatic aspects. The composition is based on the analysis of verbal etiquette situations presented in the text. Pragmatical structure is determined by addressant self- presentation and presentation of the addressee, and is described in terms of speech act theory. This research is important for the development of pragmatics studies in Belarusian linguistics. |
