| Abstract: | There is no clear hypothesis explaining the mechanisms of bacterial resistance to biocides nowadays. In this work an attempt was made to improve the diagnosis and monitoring of the spread of resistance to biocides among pathogens of purulent-septic infections. High prevalence of biocide resistance associated genes smr (94%) and qac A/B (75%) in MRSA enhance their adaptation to hospital environment and increases their virulence. |
