Abstract: | Chronic stress (immobilization of outbred male rats on 3 h during 5 days), leading to fall of triiodothyronine and thyroxine blood level, evokes more marked, than acute (immobilization during 3 h), leading to fall of triiodothyronine content only, decreasing of organism stability, which evaluated on changes of body weight, of adrenal glands, spleen, thymus relative mass, of gastric mucosa state, of animals physical endurance. Hypothyrosis (1,2 mg of merkazolil/100 g during 14 days) promotes to greater reduction of organism stability to acute and, especially, to chronic stress. Like to physiological doses of thyroxine (5,0 – 8,0 mkg/kg during 28 days), on the contrary, increase her in both stresses conditions. One from mechanisms of stress-protective thyroid hormones effect is the regulation of lipid peroxidation intesivity in myocardium in result of stimulation of their antioxidant enzymes activity – superoxiddismutase and catalase. |
