Внешняя политика Республики Беларусь на современном этапе

Abstract

The article reviews significant factors of the Belarusian foreign policy in its practical dimension. The author outlines geopolitical, geoeconomic, geostrategical, military and other factors. He points out the importance of these factors for the formation of modern international relations of Belarus with different countries taking into account peculiarities of their political and economic influence on the international affairs. While revealing these factors of the Belarusian foreign policy the author gives the greatest attention to the relations with Russia as the most important direction of the international relations of Belarus. The article covers the main aspects of the foreign policy with other leading international organizations and states of the world. The author analyses the importance of the international relations with the former USSR republics in the context of their foreign policy strategies, and highlights forms and ways of economic relations and the integration links between Belarus and the CIS member-states.
