| Abstract (in another language): | resentative power in the Republic of Belarus: theoretical issues The article makes an attempt to determine the essential characteristics and content of representative power. The article raises a discussion about the content of the terms “representative body” and “legislative body”, about the relationship between the legislative and representative authorities in general. The issue of the place of the President in the system of state power is considered, his powers in the field of lawmaking are analyzed. The article substantiates the opinion that representative power is a separate type of power, the implementation of which occurs through the bodies of representative power, which can be attributed to different branches of power. The definition of representative power is given. |
