| Abstract: | Статья посвящена анализу английских фразеологических единиц с компонентом-мифонимом в лингвокультурологическом аспекте. Установлено, что мифонимы в составе фразеологизмов утрачивают первичную номинативную функцию, приобретая символическое значение и становясь репрезентантами универсальных культурных архетипов. Результаты исследования демонстрируют, что такие выражения, как Achilles' heel или Pandora's box, выступают в качестве прецедентных феноменов, связывающих современное языковое сознание с античной мифопоэтической традицией |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article is devoted to the analysis of English phraseological units with a mythonym component from a linguocultural perspective. It is established that mythonyms within phraseological units lose their primary nominative function, acquiring symbolic meaning and becoming representatives of universal cultural archetypes. The results of the study demonstrate that expressions such as "Achilles' heel" or "Pandora's box" function as precedent phenomena, linking modern linguistic consciousness with the ancient mythopoetic tradition |
