| Abstract: | Статья подготовлена по результатам фольклорной экспедиции в Лоевский район Гомельской области в 1993 году и посвящена изучению уникального обряда «Проводы русалки», известного в этой местности в конце ХХ века. Анализируются образ русалки, все этапы обряда и сопровождающие его песни. В результате складывается общая картина бытования обряда «Проводы русалки» в регионе Гомельско-Брянско-Черниговского пограничья. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article was prepared based on the results of the author’s folklore expedition to the Loev district of the Gomel region in 1993 and is devoted to the study of the unique rite of «Farewell to the mermaid», which was practiced in this area at the end of the last twentieth century. The image of the mermaid, all stages of the rite and the accompanying songs are analyzed. As a result, a general picture of the existence of the rite of «Farewell to the mermaid» in the Gomel-Bryansk-Chernigov borderland is created. |
