| Abstract: | В статье рассматриваются геополитические процессы, оказавшие влияние на формирование амбивалентного статуса региона Восточной Европы, когда часть территорий интегрирована (или может быть реинтегрирована) в геополитическое ядро России, а другая часть региона сохраняется в качестве европейской периферии. Слабость государственности восточно-европейских политических общностей обусловлена не столько геополитическим соперничеством великих держав на европейском пространстве, сколько их конкуренцией за могущество и влияние в рамках геополитической системы. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article examines the geopolitical processes that influenced the formation of the ambivalent status of the Eastern European region, when part of the territories is integrated (or can be reintegrated) into the geopolitical core of Russia, and the other part of the region remains as a European periphery. The weakness of the statehood of Eastern European political communities is due not so much to the geopolitical rivalry of the great powers in the European space, but rather to their competition for power and influence within the geopolitical system. |
