| Abstract: | В статье раскрываются основные исторические вехи Горждинской бригады пограничной стражи (5-й пограничной Горждинской бригады) за 25-летний период ее существования (1889–1914 гг.). Выявлены основные этапы в истории бригады; прослеживается эволюция ее организационно-штатной структуры. С помощью просопографического метода исследования проведена реконструкция начальствующего состава Горждинской бригады и раскрыты социальные характеристики офицеров по трем группам (командиры бригады, помощники командира бригады, командиры отделов). Сделан вывод, что в кадровом вопросе руководство Отдельного корпуса пограничной стражи придерживалось традиционной имперской политики (с конфессиональными и национальными ограничениями), что объяснялось как политическими (нелояльность части населения), так и этноконфессиональными (иудеи, католики, униаты, православные) особенностями Ковенской губернии, в которой несли службу офицеры Горждинской бригады. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article reveals the main historical milestones of the Gorzhdinskaya Border Guard Brigade (5th Border Gorzhdinskaya Brigade) over the 25-year period of its existence (1889–1914). The main stages in the history of the brigade are identified; the evolution of its organizational and staff structure is traced. Using the prosopographical research method, a reconstruction of the command staff of the Gorzhdinskaya Brigade is carried out and social characteristics of officers in three groups (brigade commanders, assistant brigade commanders, department commanders) are revealed. It is concluded that in the personnel issue the leadership of the Separate Border Guard Corps adhered to the traditional imperial policy (with confessional and national restrictions), which was explained by both political (disloyalty of part of the population) and ethno-confessional (Jews, Catholics, Uniates, Orthodox) features of the Kovno province, in which the officers of the Gorzhdinskaya Brigade served. |
