| Abstract: | Данная статья посвящена выявлению и анализу ряда характерных особенностей специальности «Востоковедение и африканистика» в вузах Российской Федерации. Актуальность работы заключается в исследовании перспектив развития российского востоковедения в ближайшем будущем. В частности, в статье были затронуты такие аспекты, как количество вузов с данной специальностью, их географическое расположение, структура, количество зачисленных абитуриентов и также были выявлены диспропорции количества представленных в вузах восточных языков |
| Abstract (in another language): | This article is devoted to identifying and analysing a number of characteristic features of the specialty “Oriental and African Studies” in universities of the Russian Federation. The relevance of the work lies in the study of the prospects for the development of Russian oriental studies in the near future. In particular, the article touched upon such aspects as the number of universities with the specialty, their geographical location, structure, number of enrolled applicants, and also revealed disproportions in the number of oriental languages represented in the universities |
