| Abstract: | В статье определены и охарактеризованы наиболее важные инициативы и направления белорусской дипломатии в ООН в первой четверти ХХI в., которые были нацелены на поиск оптимального решения глобальных проблем, отражавшего интересы всех участников международных отношений вне зависимости от политической, экономической или социальной модели. Белорусская дипломатия смогла предложить эффективные решения по целому ряду важных направлений, включая обеспечение глобального устойчивого развития и многообразие путей прогрессивного развития различных стран и регионов мира, противодействие торговли людьми, сбалансированный подход к реформированию ООН. Активная деятельность Беларуси в этой организации не могла не найти понимания и поддержки руководства стран Глобального Юга, которые также сталкивались с многочисленными попытками давления со стороны западных государств и организаций. В результате международный авторитет Республики Беларусь в странах Азии, Африки, Латинской Америки повысился, что позволит нашему государству сыграть более значимую и заметную роль в формировании нового более справедливого мирового порядка. Статья представляет основные результаты выполнения темы НИР «Деятельность Республики Беларусь в ООН (1991–2021 гг.)» ГПНИ «Общество и гуманитарная безопасность белорусского государства» в 2021–2024 гг. применительно к реализации одного из ключевых направлений современного внешнеполитического курса Республики Беларусь – развития партнерских связей со странами Глобального Юга. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article defines and characterizes the most important initiatives and areas of the Belarusian diplomacy in the United Nations in the first quarter of the 21st century which were aimed at finding the optimal solution to global problems that reflected the interests of all participants in international relations, regardless of the political, economic or social models. The Belarusian diplomacy was able to offer such effective solutions in a number of important areas, including ensuring global sustainable development and a variety of ways for progressive development of different countries and regions of the world, combating the human trafficking, and a balanced approach to reforming the UN. The Belarus’ active work in this organization could not fail to find understanding and support from the leadership of the Global South, which also faced numerous attempts to exert pressure from the Western countries and organizations. As a result, the international authority of the Republic of Belarus in the countries of Asia, Africa, and Latin America has increased, which will allow our state to play a more significant and noticeable role in the formation of a new, more just global order. The authors of the article and the executors of the research work «Activities of the Republic of Belarus in the United Nations (1991–2021)» of the State Program of Scientific Research «Society and Humanitarian Security of the Belarusian State»: Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of International Relations Yu. I. Malevich (as a head) and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor V. V. Froltsov (as a deputy head) presented the main results of the research in 2021–2024 regarding the implementation of one of the key directions of the present foreign policy of the Republic of Belarus, and namely the development of partnerships with the countries of the Global South. |
