| Abstract: | В статье делается обзор характерных для языка современных российских СМИ речевых штампов, в основном утративших заложенную в них образность и значение, но все еще сохраняющих высокий экспрессивно-оценочный заряд. Стертость их метафоры, с одной стороны, способствует поддержанию у читателя их узнаваемости, а с другой, – выполняет функцию готового, краткого, но экспрессивного средства самовыражения автора |

The erasure of their metaphorical image, on the one hand, helps to maintain their recognition among the reader, and on the other hand, it serves as a ready-made, brief, but expressive means of self-expression of the author |
