Abstract: The educational materials unveil two different perspectives on American politics through a review of two books: the first one by the American diplomat Zbigniew Brzezinski “The Grand Chessboard”, who praises the American role and its glob-al importance, while the second work “Hegemony and Survival: America’s Quest for Global Dominance” by American Professor Noam Chomsky, who refers to the American role aimed at waging wars and stirring up strife in order to preserve its global dominance and curb the ambitions of any rising competitive power.
