| Abstract: | В статье рассматриваются вопросы формирования, комплектования и выхода на новые участки государственной границы СССР в сентябре – ноябре 1939 г. одного из восьми новых пограничных отрядов, сформированных в Белорусской ССР. Отмечается, что формирование 84-го пограничного отряда происходило в течение двух недель на базе 11-го Себежского отряда и 22-й отдельной Ветринской пограничной комендатуры, расположенных на польско-советской (Рижской) границе, а также за счет кадрового состава частей и подразделений войск НКВД и Красной армии. Показано, что передислокация отряда на новый участок советско-литовской границы осуществлялась комбинированным маршем. Отмечается, что первоначально 84-й отряд занял дистанцию в пределах Виленского края, на бывшей польско-литовской границе. Однако после передачи в октябре 1939 г. Виленского края Литовской Республике 84-й погранотряд был отведен на новый участок советско-литовской границы, где выполнял задачи по его охране вплоть до расформирования в июле 1940 г. При этом личный состав части был использован для формирования новых и пополнения действующих пограничных отрядов. |
| Abstract (in another language): | The article discusses the formation, recruitment and access to new sections of the state border of the USSR in September – November 1939 of one of the eight new border detachments formed in the Belarusian SSR. It is noted that the formation of the 84th border detachment of the People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs took place within two weeks on the basis of the 11th Sebezh detachment and the 22nd separate Vetrinskaya border commandant’s office, located on the Polish-Soviet (Riga) border, as well as due to the personnel of the units and units of the troops of the People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs and the Red Army. It is shown that the relocation of the detachment to a new section of the Soviet-Lithuanian border was carried out by a combined march. It is noted that initially the 84th detachment occupied a distance within the Vilna region, on the former Polish-Lithuanian border. However, after the transfer of the Vilna region to the Lithuanian Republic in October 1939, the 84th border detachment was assigned to a new section of the Soviet-Lithuanian border, where it carried out tasks to protect it until its disbandment in July 1940. At the same time, the personnel of the unit were used to form new and replenishment of existing border detachments. |
