Abstract: Optical characteristics of solar cells based on straight-band semiconductors with chalcopyrite structure at different ratios of gallium and indium concentrations are investigated. Four photoluminescence spectra were obtained for Cu(In 1-x Ga x )Se2 with different ratios of their components, where x = [Ga]/([Ga]+[In]). It was found that the right part of the peak of the spectrum is characterized by a sharper drop in intensity than the left part, which may be a consequence of the inhomogeneity of the admixture
