Abstract: Local dynamics of a logistic equation with delay and a degenerate diffusion operator is considered. It is shown that the degeneration of the diffusion operator can lead to infinite-dimensional critical cases. Quasinormal forms are constructed that determine the dynamics of the original boundary value problem.
